The following dialog pops up when I attempt to open it: "Adobe Acrobat reader could not open '[filename].pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)." I contacted the sender and made them aware of our problem.
When you click on it, you should get the following options "Open in desktop app, read aloud, save file to Adobe cloud storage, etc." Click on "Open in desktop app" and it sould automatically open it in Adobe Reader.
